In consideration of the benefit to be derived by me through participation in the Permanent E-mail Forwarding Address Service offered by the Alumni Association of the University of Kansas (KUAA) in conjunction with the University of Kansas, I request and authorize KUAA and the University of Kansas to forward third-party e-mail material to me at my e-mail forwarding address which I have provided to KUAA and agree to update from time to time. I agree that neither KUAA nor the University of Kansas shall be held liable for any damages or injury caused by any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operational transmission, computer virus, communication line failure, theft or destruction; or for any unauthorized access to, alteration of or use of record, whether arising out of breach of contract, tortious behavior, negligence, or otherwise. I specifically acknowledge that KUAA and the University of Kansas shall not be held liable for any defamatory, offensive or illegal conduct of other user or third parties, and that the risk of injury from the foregoing rests entirely with the user. Neither KUAA nor the University of Kansas shall be liable for any direct or indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of this service or the inability to gain access to or use this service. I also understand that KUAA reserves the right to deactivate and/or terminate my e-mail forwarding address service at any time and also that the Association will do so upon written request from me.
