The urn:mace:ku.edu Namespace
MACE has delegated the operations of the Uniform Resource Name (URN) namespace urn:mace:ku.edu to Identity Management Services at The University of Kansas. Identity Management Services is a department of Information Technology, which is a division of Information Services. This namespace supports the assignment of unique, global, persistent names to KU-specific directory-related resources of various kinds.

Questions about registrations under urn:mace:ku.edu, including suggestions for new registrations, should be directed to aims@ku.edu.

The attribute registry defines URNs for local directory attribute definitions. In general these are direct mappings of attribute types as used in the local schema definitions for our enterprise (LDAP) directory.

permission

The permission registry defines URNs for Signet permissions. This is not yet used in production, but was defined for testing.

RINGS
